How do we score jobs?

Every job gets a number from 0 to 100. It shows how well the job fits your profile - not how good the job is in itself. You see the number in the Basic and Premium plans and during the trial.

1. The comparison with your profile

First we compare every job with your profile - without AI, using fixed rules. Points come from a matching title, the right level (the same level counts most), location, field, your skills and the industry. Your salary wish counts only a little and never subtracts.

2. When a job gets 0 points

A job drops out completely if it is outside your search area, belongs to an industry you have excluded, is three levels below yours or clearly belongs to a different field. This keeps away jobs you are certainly not looking for.

3. The AI check

In the plans with AI scoring (Basic, Premium and the trial), an AI then reads your profile, an excerpt of your CV and the job ad and estimates how well they fit - but only if you have agreed. It checks jobs from 30 points in the first step, best first; new jobs are added continuously.

4. How both become one number

The number you see combines both. A good AI assessment only raises the number, a weak one lowers it. If the AI considers the job to be in a different field, it stays at 55 at most. Without an AI check you see the number from the first step.

5. When a job is a good fit

A job counts as a good fit (“Matches you”) from 61 points with an AI check, without one from 70 - the rule comparison alone is less accurate, hence the stricter limit. Which jobs your list shows is up to you under “Min. Score” in the dashboard.

6. What the AI sees - and what it doesn’t

The AI receives your target roles, skills, experience and a short CV excerpt - without contact details - as well as title, company, location and text of the ad. It only reads ads from providers that allow it. You can withdraw your consent at any time in Settings under AI & privacy.

7. How to get more accurate numbers

The more complete your profile, the more accurate the number: CV, target positions, locations and skills count most. After every change we score your jobs again. What is still missing is shown in Settings.
